Actor, producer, and activist Wilmer Valderrama’s exclusive slate of podcasts with iHeartMedia’s My Cultura Podcast Network is growing by one. His production company WV Sound is releasing a new show that will feature Valderrama alongside his real-life friend, actor and producer Freddy Rodriguez. Called Dos Amigos, the series will feature the men reflecting on their careers and lives, as they share everything about everything.
“Freddy is one of my best friends so having an excuse to get together every week to meet new friends, joke, laugh, celebrate and share meaningful conversations couldn’t feel less like work,” Valderrama said in a statement. “I am beyond grateful for the partnership WV Sound has built with iHeartMedia’s My Cultura Network and cannot wait to continue uplifting our community’s vibrant voices.”
Valderrama (NCIS, Encanto, That ’70s Show) and Rodriguez (Six Feet Under, Ugly Betty) will record episodes of the weekly Dos Amigos in Valderrama’s very own speakeasy. It will also feature appearances from special guests.
“Wilmer and I have known each other for years,” says Rodriguez. “And every time we’ve crossed paths during our long journey in the entertainment industry, our conversations have always been filled with laughter, interesting stories and an overall good time.”
Dos Amigos will be available weekly on Thursdays starting this week.
Valderrama, best recognized for his “NCIS” role on television, has championed podcasting in a way that few other actors have. His production company WV Sound previously released podcasts from his My Cultura partnership, including Forgive Me For I Have Followed, Essential Voices with Wilmer Valderrama, Date My Abuelita, First!, and More Better with Stephanie and Melissa.
