The New Host Is Out There... And Now On ‘Hysteria 51’ Podcast.

Something rather explainable is happening at Hysteria 51, the weekly podcast that takes an every-man approach to topics like UFOs, the paranormal, and all things unexplained. After six years, cohost John Goforth has announced he will leave the podcast he co-created with Brent Hand. The show will continue with a two-man hosting team as David Flora, who has hosted the similarly-themed Blurry Photos podcast, will join Hand. Ten-year old Blurry Photos explores the unexplained, focusing on lesser-known topics.

“I’ve loved every minute of producing this show with Brent, but the reality is my life is markedly different than it was when we started. Between kids, travel, work, and just life – there aren’t enough hours in the day,” said Goforth in the announcement. “While all good things come to an end, I’ll look back at his time on the show with fondness. When we started recording back in the middle of 2016 – who knew this is where the show would go! I mean our audio sounded like we were broadcasting through a potato and we literally had no idea what we were doing. But the enduring thing was always the audience – Hysteria Nation is who has always and will continue to make this show special.”

Since its debut, Hysteria 51 has released more than 300 episodes and racked up more than 20 million downloads since 2016.

“The past 6 years have been a blast creating this show with John. I can’t thank him enough for his hard work and dedication. I wish him nothing but the best in his future,” said Hand. “I am also super excited to welcome David to the show. He brings his own unique style and I can’t wait to see how we grow.”
