Angela Yee, who rose to stardom as co-founder and co-host of the nationally syndicated morning show “The Breakfast Club,” has joined Nest Seekers International, a luxury residential and commercial brokerage firm.
According to a news release, the 2020 Radio Hall of Fame inductee and current host of the syndicated “Way Up With Angela Yee,” will bring “her expertise and vision for Purpose-Driven Real Estate to the global market.”
Despite her on-air contributions to her community, “Angela’s impact extends far beyond the airwaves. A passionate advocate for Purpose-Driven Real Estate, she seamlessly blends financial success with social responsibility to create lasting change.”
Yee has worked to empower marginalized communities, in addition to advocating for wealth education and facilitating economic growth. Two years ago, she bought a 30-unit residential building in Detroit, dedicating a third of the apartments to formerly incarcerated women.
Meanwhile, Yee’s Wealth Wednesdays Real Estate Club provides education for aspiring investors, particularly those from underrepresented communities, with the goal of creating generational wealth through real estate. She has also made investments in Brooklyn that include multi-family homes that provide accessible rental housing.
Yee’s entrepreneurial ventures also include co-owning a coffee shop and product, Coffee Uplifts People (CUP) in Brooklyn.
“Real estate is not just about transactions; it’s about transformation,” Yee says in the release. “Through Purpose-Driven Real Estate, I aim to create opportunities, build community, and inspire others to see property ownership as a pathway to legacy wealth.”
According to Eddie Shapiro, CEO and Founder of Nest Seekers International, the radio star has an approach to real estate that’s all her own. “Angela’s vision and drive make her a powerful force in real estate,” he said. “She brings a fresh perspective, blending business expertise with a commitment to impact.”
