Raysa Rodriguez-Leon has been appointed Executive VP of Audio Sales and Client Solutions for Latino Media Network, reporting to LMN owners and co-founders Stephanie Valencia and Jessica Morales Rocketto and interim Chief Executive Officer Marc Manahan.
Rodriguez-Leon joins LMN after 24 years as VP Sales Executive and Media Executive at Katz Media Group, where she ran its Miami office. She has also held VP Sales Manager positions at both Univision Radio National Sales and Univision Television Group.
In the past year, LMN has taken control of the 17 radio stations it acquired from TelevisaUnivision in January 2023. Those stations are in key Hispanic markets such as Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, Chicago, Dallas and Houston, and include Spanish news/talk outlets KTNQ (AM1020) Los Angeles and “Radio Mambi 710” WAQI Miami, and Spanish regional Mexican “Zona MX 99.1” Dallas.
“Raysa’s impressive track record and dedication to connecting communities through audio platforms make her the ideal leader for this role,” Valencia and Morales-Rocketto said in a joint statement. “We are excited to have her join our leadership team to further our vision of creating impactful media that resonates with Latinos nationwide.”
Rodriguez-Leon added, “Joining a Latina-owned radio broadcaster that aligns with my career passion and cultural values is a remarkable opportunity. I’m eager to contribute to LMN’s growth and its mission to inform, inspire, and celebrate Latinos across the country.”
