The growing global podcast demand has led Triton Digital to teach its Omny Studio podcast management platform some new languages. In addition to English, it is now available for use in French, Spanish and Portuguese. Triton says additional languages will be added in the months to come.
“With podcast familiarity and consumption on the rise around the world, we are seeing an increase in software adoption across all geographic regions,” said Sharon Taylor, Managing Director at Triton Digital. In a statement, she called multilingual support a “key component” of Triton’s strategy to provide services to the global podcast industry. “We look forward to continuously adding to the list of available languages in coming months,” she said.
The Omny Studio platform already counts companies like Stitcher, Cumulus Media and Bell Media as its users in the English-language world, but also Colombia’s Grupo Bluradio and Brazil’s Grupo Jovem Pan.
“The ability to use the platform in Portuguese has enabled us to meaningfully increase our efficiency, allowing us to create, edit and share our content faster by a wide range of users from within each of our markets,” said Leo Carbonell, Head of Digital at Grupo Jovem Pan.
In addition to a multilingual content management system, the Omny Studio platform also supports the translation of embed players that match users’ browser language. Today, language support for embed players includes French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Japanese.
