Podcasters will take the stage during the inaugural Well Festival, a day-long event created by The New York Times. Times journalists will lead the conversations, with programming set to explore topics including sleep, nutrition, happiness and aging, while mainstage interviews will feature newsmakers in conversation. Interviewees include physician, author and host of The Drive podcast Peter Attia and author, entrepreneur and host of the 10% Happier podcast Dan Harris.

“At a time when the world is beset by division and upheaval, we’re all yearning to feel better, and understand what is in our control,” said Lori Leibovich, Editor of the Well vertical at the Times. “Well complements our daily news report by helping readers live smarter and healthier, by demystifying health trends, and offering thoughtful, evidence-based journalism on the rapidly evolving wellness industry,” she said. “We’ll bring these ideas to life from the pages of our report to the main stage of the Well Festival by equipping participants with the latest research, expert advice, and the connection of a wide and curious community.”

The inaugural Well Festival will be held at the Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn on Wednesday, May 7. The Times says it has already lined up several sponsors, including Esteé Lauder, Gilead, Capital One, and Danone.
