The new year is bringing a change of address for several podcasts as creators ink new sales and distribution deals. The list includes actors Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, who are taking their hit podcast Sibling Revelry to iHeartPodcasts with the launch of season four on Jan. 8. In the new season, Kate and Oliver – who also produce the podcast – will be joined by celebrity friends and real-life and fictional family members including the “Brady Bunch” brothers Barry Williams, Chris Knight and Mike Lookinland; Joel and Benji Madden; and Jonathan and Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block; among others. It will also include bonus “Revel In It” episodes focusing on one-on-one interviews with authors, motivational speakers, and groundbreakers who inspire the hosts.
Meantime, the Women's Meditation Network has inked a sales and distribution agreement with Audacy. Founded by Katie Krimitsos, the Women’s Meditation Network produces a slate of 17 guided meditation podcasts created to be easily accessible and approachable. The shows offer a variety of prescriptive help, including relieving stress or anxiety, starting the day with mindful intentions, falling asleep easier, and more. Since launching her first podcast in 2018, Krimitsos’ network has published more than 2,500 episodes and accumulated more than 100 million total downloads.
The Cumulus Podcast Network picks up ad sales and distribution duties for The Ed Mylett Show from Stitcher. The podcast showcases interviews with the greatest peak performers across all industries – including business, health, collegiate and professional sports, politics, entrepreneurship, science and entertainment – sharing their journeys, knowledge and thought leadership to help inspire listeners to become their best selves. The Ed Mylett Show drops a new episode each Tuesday and Thursday. WME represented Mylett in this deal.
Finally, Evergreen Podcasts has also welcomed the Practical Stoicism podcast to its roster.
