Media Monitors: Kohl’s Surges As Lowe’s Stays On Top.

Department store retailer Kohl’s was the biggest gainer on the latest Media Monitors list of top radio advertisers by spot count.


Kohl’s, with 35,509 for the week of Dec. 9-15, 2024, surged to No. 8 overall from No. 21 the prior week. The company’s gains put it just behind No. 7 eBay (36,091), up from No. 11 — and the second-biggest gainer in the latest week.


No. 1 Lowe’s (64,889) again led the way, with insurer Progressive second. They were followed by a trio of Wireless Carriers: Verizon Wireless, Cricket and T-Mobile at Nos. 3, 4 and 5, respectively.


For the week of Dec. 9-15, 2024, the top 10 radio advertisers by spot count include: Lowe’s, Progressive, Verizon Wireless, Cricket, T-Mobile, PayPal, eBay, Kohl’s, Vicks and Discover.
