John R. Miles To Emcee Podcast Hall of Fame’s January Induction Ceremony.

The Podcast Hall of Fame says John R. Miles will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the 2025 induction ceremony. A veteran of the corporate world at companies like Dell and Lowe’s, Miles is also the host of the self-improvement podcast Passion Struck

The Passion Struck podcast has had more than 55 million downloads. On the show, Miles dives into the minds of some of the world’s most insightful leaders, thinkers, and changemakers for conversations about careers, relationships, and communities. He is also a best-selling author of a book that provides a roadmap for leaders and individuals to bridge the gap between potential and action. The Podcast Hall of Fame says that that ability to captivate and inspire aligns perfectly with the spirit of its event.

“John’s unique ability to inspire and connect with audiences, coupled with his deep understanding of podcasting’s transformative power, will make this year’s event unforgettable,” says Rob Greenlee, Chairperson of the Podcast Hall of Fame and a 2017 inductee.

Organizers earlier announced 11 new additions set for 2025. This year’s inductees include:

  • Chris Christensen, the host of The Amateur Traveler Podcast, one of the longest-running travel podcasts.

  • Lance Anderson, the creator of The Verge of the Fringe, a podcast that explores his life and experiences.

  • George Hrab, host of the Geologic Podcast

  • Lou Mongello, host of WDW Radio, a Disney-focused podcast.

  • Jessica Kupferman, co-founder/CEO of She Podcasts.

  • Twila Dang, founder of Matriarch Digital Media.

  • Dave Mansueto, co-founder of Libsyn and the BossJock app.

  • Maria Thomas, NPR’s first digital General Manager.

  • Chris Krimitsos, founder of Podfest Expo.

  • Tom Webster, a partner at Sounds Profitable and former VP at Edison Research.

  • Tim Street, a pioneer in video podcasting best known for his work on French Maid TV. Organizers say Street’s innovative approach to content and early adoption of the medium helped lay the foundation for video in podcasting.

The Podcast Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at the Podfest Expo Conference in Orlando, FL. The event will be recorded and released as a video online on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025. Founded in 2015, the Podcast Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made lasting contributions.
