Jack O’Brien and Miles Gray of The Daily Zeitgeist podcast have been announced as the hosts of the 2025 iHeartPodcast Awards, set to take place next week at SXSW. The Daily Zeitgeist podcast was launched by iHeart in 2017 and it offers a daily comedic look at the events and stories driving the headlines.
The event will also include an array of nominees across 29 different awards categories, and surprise celebrity guest appearances. But the names of many of the presenters has also been tipped by iHeart. The list includes Annaleigh Ashford and Melissa Moore, Cam Jordan, Chelsea Handler, Dennis Quaid, Ed Helms, Georgia Hardstark, Karen Kilgiraff, Joe Manganiello, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarah Spain, and Sophia Bush. And iHeart says surprise celebrity guest appearances can also be expected.
In partnership with SXSW, the 2025 iHeartPodcast Awards will take place live on Monday March 10 at an expanded venue — ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin. The event will also be open to select SXSW badge holders for the first time ever, granting even more access for attendees to honor those who are shaping the industry.
In addition to the in-person show, the ceremony will also be live-broadcasted on select iHeart radio stations, on the iHeartRadio app and on iHeartRadio’s YouTube Channel and Facebook channel. The show is set to begin at 10pm CT.
