Chelsea Handler Returns To Podcast And To iHeart For Dear Abby-Inspired Show.

It has been more than a year since Chelsea Handler wrapped production of her podcast Life Will Be the Death of Me. Now the comedian and TV host returns to the iHeartPodcast Network to launch a new series, which will once again be co-hosted by her longtime assistant, Brandon Marlo. The show is titled Dear Chelsea, and it will feature the pair answering questions from listeners and offering their advice, along with some fresh perspectives, and hopefully some laughs too.

“iHeartRadio has been a great place for me to share all of my wild, unvarnished thoughts,” said Handler. “I’m excited to start this journey with Dear Chelsea to help people figure out what they need in life -- I’m more than happy to be that kick in the pants or shove that will give someone a new perspective on a situation and help them to make a decision.”

Dear Chelsea plays on the idea of “Dear Abby,” as Handler and Marlo will help listeners to answer questions about what is going on in their lives. The new podcast will also feature surprise celebrity and expert guest appearances to help weigh in on the listeners’ questions.

“Chelsea has been a part of our iHeartPodcast Network family for a few years now and we are thrilled to add Dear Chelsea to the iHeartPodcast Network,” said COO Will Pearson. “Chelsea’s comedic talent is incredible, and we believe she will offer listeners great, raw advice to help them find more direction with life’s biggest and smallest questions.”

Dear Chelsea will premiere on May 6. New episodes will be released every Thursday.

Handler hosted her late-night television talk show “Chelsea Lately” from 2007 to 2014. In 2019 she then produced one season of the Life Will Be the Death of Me podcast for iHeart to support the launch of her book of the same name. Most recently, she released her first stand-up special in more than six years on HBO Max.
