The Black Effect Podcast Festival has become one of the largest events in the country that allows listeners to celebrate the shows they love and meet the hosts behind the mics. Black Effect founder Charlamagne Tha God says when the festival returns to Atlanta in April, there will be more than just live podcast tapings and panel discussions aimed at aspiring podcasters in the Black community.

“This year, we’re celebrating not just where we’ve been — we’re embracing the limitless future of Black podcasting and the influence it holds,” says Charlamagne.

The Black Effect Podcast Festival, co-produced with Black Effect partner iHeartMedia, will be held April 26 at Pullman Yards in Atlanta. The festival will be hosted by Mandii B and WeezyWTF, hosts of The Black Effect Podcast Network’s relationship podcast Decisions, Decisions.

“We’re excited to return to Atlanta, building on the incredible momentum of the podcast industry and the growing impact of Black creators in the space,” Charlamagne says in the announcement. “As the influence of Black voices continues to shape culture and drive conversations, The Black Effect remains committed to powerful storytelling, meaningful brand collaborations and unforgettable live experiences.”

Last year’s sold-out show brought together thousands of podcast fans, and organizers are looking to do the same this year. The third annual festival will feature live appearances from some of the Black Effect’s most popular shows including Woman EvolveGood Moms Bad ChoicesR&B MoneyNaked Sports with Cari Champion and The Trap Nerds. Ticket holders will also hear thought-provoking and informative panel discussions during the event including Adapting to Trends: The Future of Podcasting, among others.

Festival sponsors will also be on-site at the event with engaging activations for attendees including the Pitch Your Podcast booth. In addition, the festival will also feature a variety of other activities such as a pop-up marketplace showcasing merchandise from Black-owned businesses, a photo booth, and Office Hours, with one-on-one mentoring sessions with iHeartMedia executives.

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Feb. 26) at 12pm ET. Special student ticket pricing is also available. Details HERE.

Launched in September 2020, the network has since debuted 47 shows curated by Charlamagne Tha God. The network stems from a years-long relationship between Charlamagne and iHeart, which syndicates his morning radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” from flagship hip-hop/R&B “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM New York. The replay podcast of the radio show serves as the flagship podcast for The Black Effect Podcast Network.
