Insoundz, the company focused on growing the use of generative AI in audio, has raised $5 million in a new round of financing. This latest investment was led by existing investors and new strategic partners, which the company has not identified. Insoundz says the cash infusion will help in the development of its cutting-edge audio technology, expand its market presence, grow sales and marketing efforts, and drive strategic initiatives into new sectors.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from our investors and the confidence they have shown in our vision,” CEO Emil Winebrand said in the announcement. “This funding round is a significant milestone for us and will enable us to accelerate our efforts in revolutionizing the industry with audio B2B solutions for enterprises.”
As it looks to work with businesses around the world looking solve their audio needs with AI, Tel Aviv-based Insoundz says the key objectives for the funding include the product launch of a real-time software development kit (or SKD) that will feature customized generative AI models tailored for business applications in communications and gaming.
“Our innovative technology, including the upcoming release of our real-time SDK for communications and gaming, with customized generative AI models, has already garnered attention and has the potential to fundamentally redefine how audio is used commercially,” said Winebrand. “We are excited to continue our journey with the backing of our investors.”
Insoundz also aims to ramp up sales and marketing efforts to elevate brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and grow its revenue. That will mean hiring additional sales reps, while also adding staff in engineering, marketing, and business development — while also scaling up the size of the U.S. commercial team.
In December, Insoundz said podcasting veteran Rob Greenlee is joining its team in a contract business development role. Greenlee will help it focus on marketing its AI audio technology to new users.
Insoundz solutions are already being adopted across various enterprise industries, including broadcasting, communications, gaming, , sports, music, entertainment as well as large-scale events.
